Job Purpose:
Under the general guidance of the Director of Spa, assist in ensuring that all guests receive high quality, personalized service home-care well-being program and to perform Hammam Treatments / therapy treatments for the members and guests and assist in promoting and marketing the SPA.
Duties & Functions:
Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.
Be responsible for performing Hammam treatments / beauty therapy treatments, massage and body therapy treatments and specialized treatments for the members and guests to the required standard and provide guests with home-care well-being program.
Be responsible for after care advice for the member of guest
Be responsible for achieving retail sales
Ensure that Hammam Area is well maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Ensure that all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance program
Carry out spa tours and spa consultations with guests and members, giving personalized advice and promote facilities, treatments and products
Assist during spa promotions and events
Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required
Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
Ensure correct information is recorded for stock control in accordance with the Senior Therapist.
Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified
Posses the ability to work without direct supervision
Assist in all area of spa operation as requested by management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Abides by the Hammam Spa Policies and Procedures Guide at all times
Greets all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
Ability to provide 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute treatments
Provides exceptional customer service at all times
Provides safe, efficacious, relaxing services using advanced massage techniques
Responsible for fostering a healthy attitude and working relationships with all co-workers and members of management
Maintains cleanliness of massage rooms used and common areas of the spa
Manages client feedback and complaints with professionalism and patience
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Fluency in English, with strong verbal skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong work ethic
Courteous, discreet, and professional demeanor
Ability to work well under pressure
A strong team player
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must be well groomed, and adhere to the spa dress-code policy
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma & Completion of Massage Therapy School
Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in good standing
Previous spa or hospitality experience an asset
